2013 Flashback – The origins of “Rally in the Alley”
If you’ve only been coming to Vegas Bike Week and Hogs & Heifers for a couple of years, you may assume during the rally, our saloon always hosted a satellite bar out on 3rd street.
Truth is it wasn’t until 2014 that Hogs was allowed to construct a bar on the street. We always added extra bar space our sidewalk, but it took years to convince downtown neighbors to really expand this party to the streets.
So this makes ’13 the last year of H&H’s sidewalk bar setup during LV bike week. Don’t be sad, I think only a few bartenders could dance on that bar at once. Larger street bar means more room for the hardest working staff in Vegas to show off what they got and entertain y’all. This is far better for the eyes and also better for quicker shot consumption, we all win!
See you at this year’s Rally in the Alley, the biggest and craziest party you’ll experience during bike week in Las Vegas.
