Best Dyna Motor–Jeff Holt – owner and El Jefe at V-Twin Visionary is bringing his FXR/Dyna show to our 2018 Rally in the Alley!

Former Editor of Hot Bike Magazine – Jeff recently launched V-Twin Visionary giving motorcycle enthusiasts information about the latest and greatest motorcycle products, builders, events, and so much more!  His website and social media pages are picking up steam quickly, where his popular blog “Questioned” showcases some of the best motorcycle builders and product manufactures in the industry. So, because we think he fits this category as well, we’re going to change our normal #hogslife post a bit, and do a “Questioned” with Jeff Holt for our own blog!

We are here to enlighten the un-enlightened to who Jeff Holt is, what V-Twin Visionary has in store for the future, and what his badass FXR/Dyna show is all about…

What started your motorcycle passion?
Being forbidden to ride one as a child.
What bikes do you own and which one is your favorite?
I own more than a few bikes, but my favors would be my 1950 H-D Panhead and my 1993 FXR with a 2018 Milwaukee Eight engine in it.
What was your favorite part about being the Editor of Hot Bike Magazine?
I liked traveling and meeting new people who had the same passion for motorcycles as I did.
In a nutshell – what is V-Twin Visionary and what is your goal for V-Twin Visionary?
VTV is an unapologetic view of the custom/performance V-Twin lifestyle and the people within it.
What’s your favorite part about the bike you are building for the Michael Lichter show – Motorcycles as Art?
It’s very weird, but the sum of its parts all together just makes it work.
Can you tell us a bit about the M8FXR? Penny said she saw it at Born Free and can’t wait to see the final build.
It will be a 200hp 151ci performance-built H-D FXRP, so whats not to love about that?  HAHA!
How many FXR shows have you done and which one was your favorite?
I have produced over 20 FXR/Dyna shows all over North America and I would say that my favorite was the first. It was just the excitement of making it happen and the fear that nobody would show up all missed together.
How many bikes do you think will show up at your FXR/Dyna show at our Rally in the Alley event?
I would say 50-75 would be a good estimate.
Where in the U.S. is your favorite place to ride?
It would be a tie between Southern Utah, or Tennessee.
What motorcycle event is your absolute favorite?
I would have to say that for an outside show, it would be Born-Free, and for an inside show, hands-down it would be the Mooneyes HRCS in Yokohama, Japan.
What do you absolutely hate seeing at motorcycle events?
Lack of attendance. It shouldn’t be a hard thing to have a show and have people come and hang out at it. A lot of people and promoters over complicate it so much.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Vegas? Well, at least one thing you can share with us. Remember – this will be seen by many!
I like those long nights of hanging out with friends over many drinks and a lot of good food.
California seems to start most of the motorcycle trends. What new trend is coming to the motorcycle community and do you like it?
I am liking the “Less is more” performance thing that is happening now. The world has seen enough leather fringe.
What’s your favorite drink?
Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey on the rocks.
YOU HEARD THE MAN!!  BRING THAT GUY SOME WHISKEY!
